Condition: Minor cover and spine wear noted especially around the edges. No writing, torn or missing pages noted. Each volume is tightly bound. The Parent Guide has foxing on the inside cover. The Parent Guide shows the most wear to the cover - the rest of the editions don't even appear to have been read - especially the higher numbered volumes. Through the Fairy Halls (6) has a bit of crayon on the front cover.
This set is filled with art deco illustrations which are gorgeous. There are three different inside covers used as the books progress as well. The books progress as children age, starting with nursery rhymes in Volume 1. A wonderful set to have on the bookshelf for hours upon hours of reading & rereading.
