About Log Cabin Vintage
Hi, I'm Wendy & I was the girl who stayed up all night reading by flashlight long past my bedtime. From the time I learned to read, I was never without a book. I spent hours reading up in the big maple tree in our side yard, on the long trips to the mountains with my family...I was always reading. I grew up to be an adult who has never lost my love of reading a good book.
I have lived in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania my entire life. My family & I live in a log cabin & I am a self-proclaimed homesteader – minus all of the farm animals (other than chickens) due to land restrictions. I serve on the Board of Directors of The Peter Wentz Farmstead Society whose mission is to assist in the preservation and study of the 18th century way of life. The Peter Wentz Farmstead is an historic property in Montgomery County, PA run by the county & open to the public.
A few years ago, I decided to reread some of my childhood favorites, and it was while trying to replace these long-lost books, I found there was not one website dedicated to purchasing vintage and antique children's books. And Log Cabin Vintage was born. It is my mission to help reunite you with your favorite books from childhood.
