Does anyone know the name of a book my teacher used in 5th or 6th grade reading in late 1950's. It was about a family - mom dad and a girl and boy if I remember correctly - on vacation traveling the United States. I remember they traveled from Maine, to Washington D.C., the south-east coast, and over to Washington state.
I have not read this book before, but I look forward to it. Beautiful hardbound copy with lovely illustrations. Always a great selection of books to choose from at Log Cabin.
