Fern Leather Journal - Large

$48.00

This large leather journal measures 6" wide by 9" tall and features:

- A block print of a fern which has been hand-carved and stamped onto suede before being stitched directly to the cover.
- 160 pages (counting both sides) of 67 lb., unlined acid free paper which works wonderfully with all dry media, pen and ink.
- Strong waxed linen thread binding the pages directly to the cover.
- The long stitch binding method has been used so pages lay flat, allowing you to fill up every inch of them.
- Cover made from full grain, oil tanned leather sourced in the USA in Minnesota.
- Attached leather thong to hold journal closed when not in use.

The leather journals I offer here at Log Cabin Vintage are all handmade by a woman in Minnesota using a slow craft method, which means each journal (inside and out) has been cut, stitched and finished by her own two hands. No machines used here! She even hand carves the stamps used for the designs on the front of each cover!  How amazing is that?  The leather is top quality, full grain, Minnesota-made, oil tanned leather.

These journals are a true work of art & I am thrilled to carry such high quality, hand-crafted journals in my shop.
