Hi, I'm Wendy & I was the girl who stayed up all night reading by flashlight long past my bedtime. From the time I learned to read, I was never without a book. I spent hours reading up in the big maple tree in our side yard, on the long trips to the mountains with my family, under the blankets late at night (hiding my flashlight so my parents would not know)...I was always reading. I grew up to be an adult who has never lost my love of reading a good book.

 

A few years ago, I decided to reread some of my childhood favorites, and it was while trying to replace these long-lost books, I found there were no websites to purchase the beloved books I was looking for. It made me realize there was a need for an online bookstore that focused solely on vintage & antique children's books and thus Log Cabin Vintage was born.
